Why spend a holiday in nature?
Outdoor Recreation is increasingly willing chosen by Poles form of recreation, especially during the holidays or winter holidays. No wonder - in Poland, because we find many places where you can spend your time very attractive, using the occasion of the beautiful surrounding nature. In Poland, we find many mountains, with peaks offering stunning views and well-prepared trails invite only hours of hiking. And in the winter we can take advantage of the ski slopes. Rest in nature is not only the top - should you choose is also the beautiful Mazury lake or coastal area to see. Each of these places is recommendable holiday destination.
Important geographic facts
Poland's territory extends across several geographical regions, between latitudes 49° and 55° N, and longitudes 14° and 25° E. In the north-west is the Baltic seacoast, which extends from the Bay of Pomerania to the Gulf of Gdańsk. This coast is marked by several spits, coastal lakes (former bays that have been cut off from the sea), and dunes. The largely straight coastline is indented by the Szczecin Lagoon, the Bay of Puck, and the Vistula Lagoon. The centre and parts of the north lie within the North European Plain.
Rising above these lowlands is a geographical region comprising the four hilly districts of moraines and moraine-dammed lakes formed during and after the Pleistocene ice age. These lake districts are the Pomeranian Lake District, the Greater Polish Lake District, the Kashubian Lake District, and the Masurian Lake District. The Masurian Lake District is the largest of the four and covers much of north-eastern Poland. The lake districts form part of the Baltic Ridge, a series of moraine belts along the southern shore of the Baltic Sea.

The most famous specimens of flora and fauna of the Tatra
Although many tourists coming to the Tatras focus your holiday in the valleys and in such places in Zakopane, as Krupówki, it should come out in the higher parts of the mountains, of course, as far as physical abilities. We can meet there really unique in the country specimens of both flora and fauna of the Tatras. Very often wyglądanymi by tourists animal pathways are chamois, which, however, can meet only a few. Chamois is quite wild animals, like bears and goats, which very rarely can also be found in this area. It should consider dropping into the unknown land, because such a meeting can be quite dangerous for tourists.
